Avalon Chess Club Classes
Instructor: Ernesto Alvarez
When: Every Monday (Excluding Holidays)
Beginners: 6-7 PM
Intermediate: 7-8 PM
Cost: $15 per session, or $40/month
Ernesto Alvarez is a
United States National Master with a 2250 USCF rating. He is 22 years old but has already been teaching chess for over 5 years and his students have won many district, regional, and state level championships. Ernesto is a very enthusiastic instructor "I still enjoy playing chess competitively, so I am constantly reading, playing and learning about the game. I believe a teacher should be someone who is truly passionate and involved in his craft. The day I stop competing, I will probably also stop teaching."
Avalon is proud to sponsor Ernesto's chess classes which will take place each Monday from 6PM to 8PM starting on Monday, February 13, 2012. The store will only be open to Avalon Chess Club members.
